Steven is a 3rd year graduate student at Temple University. He graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Psychology, where he was advised by Dr. Jeanine Stefanucci.
His research at Temple, with advisor, Dr. Nora Newcombe, explores individual differences in navigation ability. He is broadly interested in how large-scale spatial representations are formed and processed. In particular, his work focuses on the ways environmental slope is used and represented either mentally or with the aid of contour maps.
